Hey guys, great podcast as always. I have a couple recommendations that I think are right for your show. There is a local shop that sells various nerd affects, such as comics, retro games, and used anime. I’ve found two obscure OVA s there really cheap and just had to check them out. Sometimes you can find buried treasure in these places, and sometimes you did up something that should have stayed in the pit you found it. I have an example of both.
The first is called Assemble Insert. It’s a Wacky throwback to the late 80′s, it’s about a hour long, and it’s actually enjoyable. If you get demoralized by a bad show, Assemble Insert may be the right medicine to take.
The other is a really bad show called Weather Report Girl. It’s among the worst things I’ve seen, and I’ve seen some terrible shows. It’s not that bad in the production sense, but some people do some terrible things in this show, and it can be hard to watch. It’s two 45 minute episodes. There are only a couple shows that have made me uncomfortable, and this was one of them.

Thanks! Funny enough, I got Assemble Insert recently from M as a gift. We just haven’t quite gotten around to covering it on the podcast.
Isn’t Weather Report Girl a hentai?

Hah, small world.
It isn’t a hentai, although the box art may make it seem otherwise. There is some fan service and nudity. There is sex, but it isn’t on screen, save for one small scene, kinda like Ninja Scroll, and various other early 90′s projects.

It’s filed with terrible people doing terrible things. It’s not revolting or anything, but nothing good happens to good people. It makes you root against the main character to no avail.
