Episode 126: “Kevin’s Jelly”

Gen 13 is the one series from Image to almost–almost–get a decent animated adaptation. The Spawn HBO series came close. WildCATs and Savage Dragon (mostly the first season) were perversions of their source material. Youngblood…well, we dodged a bullet on that abortion.

We know this isn’t anime, but FUCK YOU IT’S CARTOONS. The good news is that since this movie never got an official Western release, you’re welcome to pirate the hell out of it. Here, it’s even on YouTube.

Also, read some Adam Warren comics. You’re welcome!

PROMOS: 2 Guys and a Mic

In the Method to Madness podcast, Sean “The Grey Ghost” Ryan and Kevin “The Business” Gray discuss the great anime that you should be watching and the shameful anime we know you’re watching instead.

I am putting my vote in that you guys need to review Sky Surfer Strike Force.

I saw the Gen 13 movie on the YT link you put in the description. I did like the movie, as I thought I was watching a TV14 saturday morning cartoon.

As for Rob Liefeld drawings, #3 is my favorite description: link to progressiveboink.com

I think Kevin and I watched the DVD for that a couple years ago. We kinda declared it “Not Awful” and not enough to it to make a strong podcast.
